Click here to view a larger image	Manchester United Memorabilia: The Busby Babes Framed Photo Montage (LE0039) On 6th February 1958, the Manchester United team, known as the ‘Busby Babes’ were all but wiped out when the plane carrying them home from a successful match in Belgrade crashed on take-off from Munich Airport. Captain Roger Byrne, Tommy Taylor, David Pegg, Bill Whelan, Eddie Colman, Mark Jones and Geoff Bent were killed instantly. This highly collectable framed montage feature five individual pictures of these 'legends', accompanied by information plus a central plaque to complete the presentation. The photos are: * Duncan Edwards just before the Munich plane disaster in 1958. * Bobby Charlton recovers in hospital after the Munich plane crash. * Sir Matt Busby says goodbye to Professor Maurer as he leaves hospital after the accident in Munich. * Wreckage of the plane that crashed on take-off from Munich Airport * Manchester United team circa December 1957. The clock still keeps time, yet on the 30th anniversary of the disaster the clock stopped at exactly four minutes past three, the time the disaster occurred.
